Arianna is a Southern California native, but more specifically, a San Pedro girl. She had the immense privilege of growing up in a Christian family and was introduced to Jesus at a young age. In middle school she made a public declaration of the Lord as her Savior and King and has been stumbling full of His grace towards Him, ever since.
While Biola University, ("go eagles!"), holds her heart and her two B.A. degrees, Arianna began serving on the KHC staff team in 2017, shortly after obtaining an M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University in general counseling. She's partnered with organizations such as The A21 Campaign and The Los Angeles Dream Center to combat the fight against sex trafficking and has spent many years walking alongside students in Christian Higher Education working in Student Affairs. A lover of excellence, order, (and all things chocolate!), she is excited for all the Lord is accomplishing (and desires to accomplish) here at KHC. As the Groups and Discipleship Coordinator, Arianna gets to partner with people and create space for them to discover who they were created to be in Christ through community groups and women's discipleship gatherings.
Driven by a desire to love and serve God and others with an overflowing joy, Arianna appreciates the KHC vision, the details, and the little things in between. You can typically find her catching a sunrise or sunset with friends and cruising around the South Bay with her windows down and laughter turned up, or hiding in a cozy chair with a good book, a great friend, and a cup of freshly brewed tea.
One thing she's learned? Earthly roles and ever changing. One truth that Arianna repeatedly reminds herself of is 2 Corinthians 12:9, "His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness". She feels the more quickly she applies, "He must increase and I must decrease," (John 3:30), the sooner the Lord can step in and reveal His plans for her and all that He has stewarded her to accomplish for His glory.
