Pastor of Mobilization(310) 376-6555 Ext. 116 | email@example.com
When Dan was 10 years old he prayed that Jesus would be his Savoir but he was never taught to be a disciple. His family moved away from the church where the decision was made. Dan began his life in the South Bay 40+ years ago in Hermosa Beach going to school at Pier Ave Jr. High (Now the Hb Civic Center) then graduated from Mira Costa High School.
After being rescued by Almighty God from alcoholism and addiction June 30th, 1979, when he was 12 years clean and sober Dan received Christ as Lord and Savior (‘91). Dan believes God saved him and protected him from the full impact of his sin ultimately for God’s glory.
Dan has been attending KHC since 1997. In 2002, Dan was hired as Associate Pastor at KHC to serve as the Men’s Pastor – overseeing life groups, education, and recovery. Dan currently oversees our Mobilization Department, Recovery with Jesus, and our Church on the Beach campus (COTB). One of the greatest parts of the job “serving the King of the Universe in this beautiful community called the South Bay and beyond!” God is at work locally and globally! Life Verse “I no longer live but Christ lives in me, the life I live in the body I live by faith in the One who loved me and give His life for me” Galatians 2:20
By God’s grace and because of King’s Harbor’s work through the Mobilization Department, Dan has served and worshiped with friends and partners in places like Haiti, Mexico, Italy, India, Israel, Thailand, Philippines, Kenya, and even Jackson, Mississippi – alongside mentor John M. Perkins and friends in the good
In addition to the joy of serving at KHC, Dan likes to spend time hanging out with his family, going on day trips to places like: The Getty, MOCA, Huntington Library, or SUP, surfing, enjoying the beach, drinking coffee, and hearing people’s stories.
He resides in Gardena (G-Land) with his amazing wife Marcy. (#AtHisFeet Ministry) Together they have three children: Andrew (recently married April 2016 to the beautiful Marianna), Jack (20), and Leila (14).
