Dennis Fevergeon

Dennis was born and raised in Pasadena, California, a 3rd generation son from Pasadena.  He became aware that he needed Christ in his life at that key age of 12 years old.  There were two major events that affected that call and his conversion – a Billy Graham crusade at the LA Colosseum and Winter Camp at Forest Home.

Dennis received his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.  He was the lead pastor at South Bay Covenant Church in Palos Verdes as well as the First Baptist Church of Palos Verdes.  He was also an elder at Rolling Hills Covenant Church.  He was involved in Gate Keepers from 2002-2005.

In 2013, Dennis started attending KHC.  Dennis has been a friend of KHC and some of the KHC staff for many years.  Dennis believes that God has a significant ministry ahead for us.  There is so much that God wants to do in the South Bay and around the world through this local branch of the Body.  Dennis desires to see our Life Groups grow and become more fruitful and he has a passion for the lost.

Currently, Dennis works for United Rentals Inc. which is the world’s largest construction equipment rental company.  He is the Regional Real Estate Manager and oversees all the real estate activity in the Western United States and Western Canada.

When not working or serving, Dennis enjoys building and off-roading 4 wheel drive vehicles.  He just finished building a 1946 Willys Jeep with a 383 Chevy stroker motor with all the trimmings.  The other rig he has is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that was modified with a Hemi motor, Dana 60’s and a high articulation suspension.  He has enjoyed 4 wheeling all over Southern California.  In addition, he has done the famous Rubicon Trail out of Lake Tahoe and has been wheeling in Moab, Utah and Colorado.  Dennis also enjoys collecting and restoring Vintage Lionel toy trains.

Dennis and Penny, his wife of 37 years, presently live in Palos Verdes Estates.  They have two daughters – Nicole Fevergeon and Sarah Hellinga – and are blessed with three wonderful grandkids.
