3. The Gospel of Mark

Tuesday Evenings

Dates: February 12-May 28, 2019
Time: 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Location: KHC (Harbor Room)

Class Description:

This semester, as the church learns from 2 Peter how to faithfully live as exiles in a broken world estranged from its Creator, the women will be focusing on studying how Jesus did this very thing as they continue their study in the gospel of Mark from last semester.

Mark intentionally presents Jesus as the suffering servant-King who was constantly misunderstood, and yet persevered till the end to fulfill his calling for the sake of us all and the glory of the Trinity. This example will be incredibly instructive for us as women as we consider how to more fully live out authentic, biblical womanhood.
