Sermon Series:

Saturday, 6/15 – Sunday, 7/28

The book of Jonah is a childhood favorite. So much of our understanding of this book is bound to a man being swallowed by a fish, and being spit out three days later. But what if this story is more profound than what we heard in Sunday School or saw on VeggieTales? What if this was not a distant story about a character unlike us, but rather a mirror into our own mind and heart?

In 2019, a desire for King’s Harbor Church is to become a people mindful of our call to spiritual multiplication. In our 2 Peter sermon series, we addressed the hindrance caused by a lack of urgency regarding our own eternity and the eternity of others. In Jonah, we face a second challenge regarding the potential unwillingness to go where the Lord would send us.
