Classes

Learn. Grow. Lead.

Classes

Growing in your faith is a journey. Our Equipping classes are built to help you as you go. We have developed three distinct pathways to help guide you.

Learn

These classes aim to help build the biblical and theological foundation and cultivate the skills necessary to faithfully read and interpret the Scriptures, as well as to be able to think biblically and critically about the doctrinal or ethical questions of our day.

Grow

These classes are designed to set the stage for spiritual growth as we study various biblical books and topics with other believers focusing on how to walk these truths out in everyday life.

Lead

The classes are intended to equip each participant with both the biblical knowledge and skills necessary to serve and lead in a particular area of ministry.

Fall Classes 2024

Check out this semester's line up of classes.

God's Heart for Muslims | Thursdays, 6:30 pm

Starting on Thursday, September 5, this four-week class is designed to expand our hearts for those that are unreached and to provide information, help and practice to more effectively reach out to the Muslim community around us. The class will be personal and interactive, with a mix of instruction, stories, practice and prayer. The C Family will be sharing based on their 15 years of experience living and ministering to Muslims in the Middle East.

Revelation: The Invisible Made Visible | Mondays, 6:30 pm

Starting on September 16, you are invited to receive a wake-up call from the book of Revelation that reminds us with shock and awe that as Christians we are to be living a radical lifestyle within our own culture and time. It’s also meant to provide Christians with reassurance for today and hope for tomorrow. By making the best use we can of recent archeological and historical discoveries, while avoiding some of the sensational traps of the past, we will work on developing a rich biblical framework to help us discern the message of Revelation and its meaning for us today: a message and meaning that brings us to a deeper understanding of the work of Christ in our world as well as in our journey of following him both individually and in the community of church.

Matthew (Men's Class) | Wednesdays, 6:15 am

Starting September 18, we continue our men’s study through the book of Matthew. This semester will cover chapters 18-21. Through prayer, teaching, and discussion with other men, we pray this will be a place of sharpening as we seek to know God and be transformed by him.

The Gospel on the Ground (Women's Class) | Wednesdays, 9:45 am

Required Textbook: “The Gospel on the Ground” by Kristi McLelland

This semester’s women’s study will remind us that the Kingdom of God is on the move. The Gospel on the Ground is the story of how Jesus’s message of hope and reconciliation began to spread from Jerusalem and how it’s still spreading like wildfire today. Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland for this study of the early years of the church as told in the book of Acts. Along the way you’ll learn that the Kingdom of God is always on the move, offering purpose and joy to those longing for true fullfilment.  And you’ll come to understand the part you are meant to play in the redemptive story God continues to write through your life today.

King’s Kids is available for $50 per child. (**Note: We need a minimum of 4 children registered to offer King’s Kids.**)
